Curriculum

1st year

The first year will introduce you to the key concepts that underpin the course.

You will develop a sound understanding of the main functions of business and the different aspects of management.

2nd year

In second year, you will consolidate what you have learned and further develop your analytical skills.

You will gain a number of transferable skills, allowing you to become a versatile professional, and you will get a feel for working within a business environment.

3rd year

4 routes to choose from. Third year focuses on preparing you for the job market by improving your analytical skills in management, strategy and responsible practices.

It also broadens the international scope of the programme and boosts your cultural awareness.

During your studies you will have the opportunity to broaden your horizons and develop your cultural awareness by doing an exchange or pursuing a double degree.

Paris la Défense campus

A place for learning but also a social hub where students, businesses, teachers and graduates can meet.

Careers and Employability

Student associations

In your 2nd year of the Bachelor's in Management programme, getting involved with a student association is a key part of the course and two days are set aside every week for you to undertake activities within your chosen association. You will undertake a project, which will allow you to improve your professional expertise and develop important business skills: accountability, working as part of team, seeking funding, managing a budget, developing a communications strategy… Every project is assessed and supervised by a school professor alongside the PEPS service.

Work placements

In 2nd year, you can do a work placement one day a week alongside your studies (1 day a week minimum). A work placement can either be done in conjunction with or instead of a student association project. Work placements offer the advantage of allowing you to undertake a project or assignment from September until May without it getting in the way of your studies and you may receive payment as part of your work.

Internships

End of year internships are compulsory and each one focuses on a specific goal (discovery internship, commercial or marketing internship, professional training internship). Internships allow you to put what you have learned into practice and will give you a clearer image of what career you want to pursue.

Personal and career support

  • The PEPS service - Professional Experience Personal Support - offers guidance and can work with you to create a study pathway that matches your career aspirations and personal goals
  • A personal tutor, a tenured professor at the school, will support you throughout your studies at ICN.
  • The purpose of the careers and internship service is to help you develop your employability and ensure you make a smooth transition to the job market. Students are given personalised support in the form of meetings, workshops (CV writing, interview advice, networking, international…), practice interviews either in person or online using our Easy Recrue tool, meetings with business professionals (afterworks, interview practice) … In addition, the Career Centre gives you access to hundreds of internship and job opportunities in France and abroad, as well as all the advice you'll need, no matter where you are headed.

Entering employment or continuing your studies

The Bachelor's programme is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Education and will allow you to either pursue further study or enter the job market.

Our graduates possess knowledge and skills that are highly sought after by recruiters and have gone on to find employment in various roles such as: marketing/communications assistant, business manager, sales representative, project manager, product manager, client advisor…

YGraduates of the bachelor’s programme can go on to pursue further study at ICN Business School by enrolling on either the Grande Ecole Programme or a specialised MSc programme. They can also pursue further study at another Grande École or university.

What our students
think…

The programme was marked by three years of discovery thanks to the simulations organised by professors and business professionals. The internships I did in France and abroad really boosted my confidence.
