The Bachelor's in Management is a three-year year State recognized degree that is taught at our campuses in Paris and Nancy.
The programme teaches you the fundamental aspects of management (economics, law, IT, accounting, management…), key concepts in sales, communication and marketing, and enhances your general knowledge.
The first year will introduce you to the key concepts that underpin the course.
You will develop a sound understanding of the main functions of business and the different aspects of management.
In second year, you will consolidate what you have learned and further develop your analytical skills.
You will gain a number of transferable skills, allowing you to become a versatile professional, and you will get a feel for working within a business environment.
4 routes to choose from. Third year focuses on preparing you for the job market by improving your analytical skills in management, strategy and responsible practices.
It also broadens the international scope of the programme and boosts your cultural awareness.
During your studies you will have the opportunity to broaden your horizons and develop your cultural awareness by doing an exchange or pursuing a double degree.
This pathway is available in 3rd year, subject to conditions, and gives you the chance to follow a specific programme at the University of Jian Qiao in Shanghai that lasts for one semester and includes classes on Chinese language, culture and history, and business and management in China.
In your 2nd year of the Bachelor's in Management programme, getting involved with a student association is a key part of the course and two days are set aside every week for you to undertake activities within your chosen association. You will undertake a project, which will allow you to improve your professional expertise and develop important business skills: accountability, working as part of team, seeking funding, managing a budget, developing a communications strategy… Every project is assessed and supervised by a school professor alongside the PEPS service.
In 2nd year, you can do a work placement one day a week alongside your studies (1 day a week minimum). A work placement can either be done in conjunction with or instead of a student association project. Work placements offer the advantage of allowing you to undertake a project or assignment from September until May without it getting in the way of your studies and you may receive payment as part of your work.
End of year internships are compulsory and each one focuses on a specific goal (discovery internship, commercial or marketing internship, professional training internship). Internships allow you to put what you have learned into practice and will give you a clearer image of what career you want to pursue.
The Bachelor's programme is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Education and will allow you to either pursue further study or enter the job market.
Our graduates possess knowledge and skills that are highly sought after by recruiters and have gone on to find employment in various roles such as: marketing/communications assistant, business manager, sales representative, project manager, product manager, client advisor…
